A HABITAL PLACE PLAN

Alberto Perez Gomez, Intervals in the philosophy of architecture Chora 1

Intervals in the Philosophy of Architecture explores fundamental questions concerning the practice of architecture and examines the potential of architecture. The essays in this collection explore architectural form and content in the hope of finding new and better alternatives to traditionally accepted practices. It collects essays exploring fundamental questions concerning the practice of architecture through its history and theories. As we near the end of the millennium , the time have come for us to attempt to differentiate between architecture  and building in terms other than those of eighteenth – century aesthetics- to reach beyond the exhausted philosophical distinction  between the good and the beautiful  and to articulate  the specific status of architecture as embodying wisdom while remaining  in the context of a thoroughly utilitarian ,constructed world – our technological world. CHORA (the Greek word for "space"), is devoted to exploring the potential o
Men were always looking for a place to live in, so first they found the ground where they should live. There are six main characteristics needed to be remembered by us, architects: The region, the seat, the compartition, the walling, the covering, the apertures These form a hierarchical order. Once you have found the region (the open space), you can determine the seat (the place where your house will be located). The compartition is dividing the whole platform into smaller platforms. The walling means that the house now take the form of a 3d composition as well as it helps into maintaining the system of the roof. The covering helps the building from external forces, just like the skin to our body. Lastly, the apertures are the outlets which are necessary for a house. But, we shouldn’t forget the principles of a good building: firmness, durability, stability, gracefulness and aesthetic aspect. Referring to the past,  as the climate has changed, the region also has some differences. So yo

Everytime an architect starts to design a building and to bring it into life, there are some steps which are essential and need to be known: It starts with locational analysis (responsibility of town planners and geographers),  environmental control (specialist of building design), Judgment over matters of cost (quantity surveyor), interior design (skills of an artist).  One word is used for very different concepts such as functional architecture, data architecture, solution architecture or enterprise architecture. In addition, boundaries between architecture and design are unclear. Some say they are similar concepts. Others argue that they are complementary concepts with different levels of abstraction. To do so here are some ways generating 3 dimensional form: 1-Pragmatic 2-Iconic 3-Analogic 4-Canonic -Pragmatic design  Design is about making stuff, we make stuff to test our hypotheses. The word pragmatic itself says: dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that
